NTU’s WTO moot court team qualified as the semi-finalist team of the 23rd John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition in the East Asia & Oceania regional round

The East Asia & Oceania Regional Round of the 23rd John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition was held in March 2025. After four days of competition, the WTO moot court team of the National Taiwan University (“NTU”) qualified as one of the semi-finalist teams from East Asia & Oceania Regional Round among teams from top law schools, including Singapore Management University, Peking University School of Transnational Law, University of International Business and Economics, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, etc.

Notably, Ms. Bo-Yuan Yang, an NTU team member, was awarded the Best Orator of the Semi-Finals in this Regional Round.

The 2024-2025 NTU team consists of four members: Yen-Yu Lin, Wei-Heng Chang, Bo-Yuan Yang, and Chia-Wei Lin, along with three student coaches, Yun-Hsuan Lee, Hao-Wen Zheng, and Ting-Hua Chang,

Its faculty advisors are Professor Yueh-Ping (Alex) Yang and Mao-Wei Lo from the Asian Center for WTO & International Health Law and Policy.
