NTU’s WTO moot court team won the “Best Memorial for Complainant” of the 24th John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition in the East Asia Regional Round


 

The East Asia Oceania Regional Round of the 24th John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition was held in April 2026. This year’s competition attracted representatives from more than twenty renowned law schools across the Asia-Pacific region. The WTO moot court team of the National Taiwan University (“NTU”) was awarded the “Best Memorial for Complainant” (The Gabrielle Marceau Award) in the East Asia Regional Round and will advance to the Final Oral Round to be held in the World Trade Organization in Geneva on June 23-27, 2026.

 

The 2025-2026 NTU team consists of four members: Yun-Ling Ku, Yu-Tzu Kuo, Chao-Yu Shih, and Hsuan-Hsiu Wang, along with two student coaches, Wei-Heng Chang and Yen-Yu Lin.

 

Its faculty advisors are Associate Professor Yueh-Ping (Alex) Yang and Assistant Professor Mao-Wei Lo from the Asian Center for WTO & International Health Law and Policy.
