The NTU’s John H. Jackson WTO moot court team had outstanding performance in the Final Oral Round of the 20th John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition.
The Final Oral Round of the 20th John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition (formerly known as ELSA WTO Moot Court Competition) was held in Geneva in June 2022. The National Taiwan University (“NTU”) team proceeded into the quarter finals after three days of competitions with teams from top universities, including Singapore Management University from Singapore, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from Greece, and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from Belgium.
Specifically, Mr. Hung-Wei Chen, NTU’s team member, had outstanding performance in the quarter final round and was thus awarded with the title of the Best Orator of Quarter Finals.
The 2021-2022 NTU team includes four team members, Pei-Shan Wu, Chia-Hsuan Yeh, Chih-Yu Yeh, and Hung-Wei Chen, as well as three student coaches, Mao-Wei Lo, Yu-Zhen Huang, and Shu-Ching Yang. Faculty advisors include Professor Tsai-Yu Lin and Associate Professor Yueh-Ping (Alex) Yang from the Asian Center for WTO & International Health Law and Policy.
