2024 Taipei International Conference on Arbitration and Mediation

Theme
The conference theme is “International Dispute Resolution in Evolution: The Technological and Legal Perspectives.” The UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration, adopted in 1985, represents a significant milestone in international dispute resolution law. We will explore how different legal systems incorporate the UNCITRAL Model Law, its role in harmonizing legal disparities, its extension to other types of disputes like investment and world trade, and the challenges posed by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain.
